Long Days
Jordan starts his new chemo today. He was hooked up this morning which is going to make climbing running and getting into trouble very frustrating to him. We have talked with several doctors about the upcoming (3 months or so) surgery and it is very upsetting. Brent and I are trying to absorb the sacrifices we're going to have to make for his life. It is hard to take in. We've appreciated your calls and comments. We're hanging out here till Sunday or Monday.

Brent & Becky,
We are praying!!! Please remember we would love to have the kids over to stay with us. We can school them here too. It would just be a few more in the homeschool class. I know that things are hard to put together right now but know that we love you and would love to help in any way. The kids would love to have their cousins here to love on. We wish we could give all of you great big hugs!

Stan and Kristina, Thanks for the offer. I know the kids would love it, but they start their classes at their resource center next week. We're getting a nanny to help and trying to coordinate all the details of Jordan's treatment with just regular family stuff so it's kind of hectic right now. We appreciate you and the enoucouragement. Becky

That will be best to be able to keep the family together as much as possible. When you feel up to it please give us a call. We feel helpless over here but are thankful for the blog so we can keep up on the situation and pray.

It seems my prayers for you come as often as each breath for you all these days. I am so sorry that you are having to endure this. John and I are going to try and come up and see you guys on Friday afternoon. I'll let you know for sure.

There aren't many stretches of time these days (and nights) that you guys don't come to mind. We love you and pray for Gods comfort to be very real toward you in the midst of such a painful time.

I am off of work until Oct. 23 and my schedule is wide open. Please call on me to do whatever. I will meet any need you ask of me. If you need help with the kids, meals, your house cleaned, time to yourself (I know that seems impossible), please, please, please ask me! Seriously. Really. Do it.
