cancer under review

Our "game winning touchdown" has been called back and the official ruling has reversed the decision. That is the best way to personally describe it. Unfortunately the lab results have refuted all the hope, optimism, and belief of the the doctors initial assessment of the surgery. Preliminarily it was believed that all the cancer was removed. However, the margins were too close from the lab results to risk not doing more surgery. He will also need more chemotherapy than initially planned. We continue to covet your prayers and support. love, brent and becky

Brent and Becky,
I am so heartsick over this news. I am so sorry the news could not all be positive. I don't know what to say but am just full of tears and weeping with you right now. Hold one another close and know we are saying prayers for you all each day.

The Holy Family Prayerline continues to work hard with all the prayers it can muster to help out with this latest situation. Jordan and you are in our hearts and intentions all day and night.

I have been reading this blog since the beginning and have not posted anything until today. But I'm compelled to add my voice to those who support your family with prayer, love and hope. The picture of Jordan's little face from your post 11/30 moved me to tears...again. The expression of joy for the dog against the experience of suffering is simply an inspiration to me. Your son is teaching his community, as are you all in your extraordinary family, the binding force of faith and love in the relative balance of all things. Spiritual nourishment He offers us abundantly in all the changing circumstances of our lives. I pray for the courage to bear my burdens with the grace and steadfastness exampled by your family. with deepest respect and blessings....thank you.

Ephesians 6:10 says it all. Game plan delay-'yes': 'Official ruling reversal'-NO! Its either cancer LOOSES or we WIN!! I see a memoir of FAITH here. God knows why He hasnt allowed concluding remarks; and our hearts will be filled with JOY when we know...

Saints of the most High God are praying, and this moves the heart of God (Rev 8:3-5)

Yes, be strong brother; in the Lord and the knowledge of His MIGHTY POWER.
